Always be respectful to other students and instructors.
Maintain a positive attitude while in the dojo.
Always report any unsafe conditions to an instructor.
The use of profanity or derogatory language is strictly prohibited.
Return training equipment and weapons to their proper locations.
Remove shoes before entering the dojo floor.
Clean up after yourself and put personal belongings in proper areas.
Be on time to class. If you must leave class early, please notify an instructor.
Always pay your respects by bowing towards the gong when entering and leaving the training floor.
Appropriate dojo attire: gi top, gi pants, belt, black socks or no socks must be worn while training. A shirt, rash guard or tank top may be worn under the gi top. Sleeves may not be showing under a sleeveless uniform. No street clothes are allowed during training unless otherwise stated. Remove all jewelry that can be a hazard to yourself, other students, or equipment.
Line up in rank order unless otherwise stated. Students should be courteous to when rank is the same or when order does not matter.
Arrive no earlier and stay no later than 20 minutes to/after class (exception: family members’ class).
Children in the kids’ room and lobby area must be supervised by an adult.
No food, drink, or gum on the training floor.
Attend to personal hygiene (i.e.: wash gi, trimmed nails, deodorant, etc.).
Train hard and have fun!.
Violation of any portion of the Code of Conduct is grounds for dismissal and termination of the student’s training agreement.
