The S.H.A.D.O.W Team is an exclusive program for students that desire to go above and beyond their regular training. The purpose of this extracurricular program is to promote excellence in all areas of the student's life including responsibility, leadership, and assertiveness. The program is also a training ground for future Kage No Michi instructors. Our philosophy is that you don't really know a technique until you can teach it; we believe in that so much that teaching is a requirement for our coveted Black Belt.

S.H.A.D.O.W. Team members not only act as role models in their own class, but are also given special responsibilities assisting the main instructors with the Micro, Mini, and Little Ninja classes. S.H.A.D.O.W. Team members serve a wide range of roles such as helping students get ready for class, leading stretching, operating a drill station, partnering with students for practice, and "Shadowing" new students. 

To prepare the student to assist instructors in the younger classes, members receive exclusive instruction designed to enhance the student's techniques and teaching skills and to bring out the traits of S.H.A.D.O.W. in the student.

Students who demonstrate the above character traits of S.H.A.D.O.W. both on and off the mat are encouraged to apply for membership. Upon applying, students must then receive endorsement from all the instructors in order to become a member. Members receive a special S.H.A.D.O.W. Team belt with separate rank and are invited to attend events for S.H.A.D.O.W. Team members only.
